Noah's Mill, Bit O Honey Candies in a Glass!!

Noah's Mill hails from the Willet/KBD crew and is part of the Small Batch Boutique lineup also including Rowans Creek, Johnny Drum, Corner Creek, Kentucky Vintage and a few others...

At one point in time before the whole "bourbon boom" Noah's Mill wore a 15yr age statement and it is perceived the current blend is still pretty close to that, I hope!!

Rumor also has it that Noah's Mill may be a hodgepodge of various whiskeys including "standard bourbons, wheaters, and ryes", all at different ages... Who knows if any of that is true!?!? Noah's Mill typically sells for $50-$70 retail from what I've seen..

Noah's Mill, NAS, 114.3:

First off, the color of Noah's Mill is absolutely gorgeous... Deep, dark, secrets right there!!!

On the Nose: haymakers to the face of toffee, honey, butterscotch, caramel, and a 3 piece combo of sweet oaky goodness!!

Palate and Flavors: Bit O Honey Candies, Riesen Candies, caramel popcorn, carmel chews, liquid leather, sweet aged oak...

Overall: I really like Noah's Mill, its beyond a solid bourbon. Noah's Mill may be a tad one, two, or maybe even three dimensional with the whole honey/caramel candy/strong sweet oak thing, but it does what it does very-very well....

Long, delicious finish, extremely creamy, and super smooth at "cask strength" but still "Kentucky Hug'n"!!!

Recently my very dear friend got married and I had the privilege of being in her wedding, which took place half in San Francisco and half in the Redwoods Forest...

I was committing the ultimate sin of chugging NM out of the bottle the whole time, only because the Redwoods would've destroyed my beloved glencairn and I just really-really like Noah's Mill. Not necessarily a collectors item, but a solid bottle of bourbon to sip on the regular if you have access to it...

Cheers and Happy Hunting,

Alex @bourbonboomed

Side Note: If anyone has any age stated Noah's Mills to unload, let bourbonboomed know!
